Chandler Smith is without a doubt one of the most talented young guns in NASCAR right now. From Smith’s seven ARCA wins in twenty starts, to his three top-five fiishes in only four NGROTS Season, Smith has proved that he will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years.

For 2020, Chandler Smith has already announced that he will be increasing his ARCA Menard’s Series schedule to thirteen races in 2020, the first of which will take place this weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Additionally, Kyle Busch Motorsports announced earlier in the season that Smith would be back with the team in a increased capacity.

That brings us to today where Kyle Busch Motorsports has announced that Smith will participate in eight NGROTS races, in a schedule, which is different than a lot of people would have expected.

Smith will start his season at Richmond on April 18th, then taking a couple weeks off until his next scheduled start at Dover. Then the longest break in Smith’s schedule will occur, taking over three months off from the Truck Series and waiting to turn 18, so he can be approved for the larger tracks.

Rounding out the season for Smith will be Michigan, WWT Raceway, Bristol, Las Vegas, Talladega & Phoenix Raceway.

Smith will contest his eight-race schedule for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the No. 51 JBL Toyota Tundra.

Riley Herbst – Daytona

Greg Biffle has been rumoured to drive the No. 51 at Texas and Charlotte. TobyChristie.com has since reached out to Kyle Busch Motorsports, with no response at the time of the publication of this article
