CarParts.com , an online automotive parts service, will offer a sneak peek at the company’s new brand identity through their partnership with Front Row Motorsports.
While serving as the primary sponsor for NASCAR Cup Series driver Michael McDowell for the sixth and final time this season, CarParts will debut a brand new logo on the hood of the No. 34 Ford Mustang at next week’s race at Martinsville Speedway.
“We’re thrilled to introduce our new look to NASCAR fans with Front Row Motorsports, Michael McDowell, and our partners at Davico Manufacturing,” said Lev Peker, CEO of CarParts.com. “We believe our fellow drivers belong on the road, which is why we’re committed to helping them move forward and enjoy their journey. This is what our new logo helps represent. We couldn’t think of a better debut than having McDowell carry our new branding at Martinsville Speedway in front of a national audience on NBC.”
In addition to the new logo on the hood, fans can enter via the company’s Twitter page to win a replica CarParts hood following the race in Martinsville. The hood will also be autographed by McDowell.

The scheme was designed by Kyle Sykes, a Wisconsin-based designer who has worked with Front Row for the last two seasons. This paint scheme gave the 28-year-old a unique opportunity to have to rework the past scheme with the new logo.
“I appreciate CarParts.com giving me another opportunity to have my work on track,” Sykes told TobyChristie.com. “This specific car is a big deal for the company since it’s the debut of their new brand identity. The process started over a month ago with over 8 different versions, eventually landing on the final car that will race at Martinsville. The CarParts.com team is incredibly passionate about their brand and their presence in the sport. Being able to have a hand in the debut of a new look for a brand is a lot of pressure but also rewarding when it all comes together. It always means a lot when a sponsor trusts me to create a design to represent their entire brand. I think this one will look great at Martinsville under the lights!”

In addition to CarParts.com, Davico Manufacturing will join McDowell at Martinsville as well, purchasing space on the rear quarter panels. The family-owned company of more than 30 years produces American-made catalytic converters in Massachusetts.
“Davico Manufacturing has been a made-in-America manufacturer of world-class, direct-fit catalytic converters and special exhaust for more than 34 years,” said Glenn Hamblett, National Sales Manager at Davico. “Our entire team here in Massachusetts is excited and energized to co-sponsor the No. 34 car of Michael McDowell and the Front Row Motorsports team along with CarParts.com. We will all be watching and enjoying our first NASCAR marketing endeavor and wish everyone well. Good luck, Michael McDowell!”
McDowell and CarParts have been together on-track for five races this year – including his season best finish of 7th at Indianapolis.
“CarParts.com has been innovative with their look and colors all season,” said McDowell. “They’re now introducing their new logo. It’s awesome they wanted to do it with NASCAR, Front Row Motorsports, and myself. They’ve been a great partner all season, but they’ve also been great for the sport and done different things to give back to the fans, too. That’s amazing to see during such a challenging year. I also want to thank Davico Manufacturing for their support this weekend. They’re going to be in for a fun ride.”
Fans can see the brand-new CarParts.com Ford Mustang hit the track at Martinsville on Sunday, November 1st, at 2:00PM EST on NBC and the NBC Sports App
