Brad Keselowski and the No. 6 RFK Racing team have forged a partnership with King’s Hawaiian, which will see the company serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 6 machine in two NASCAR Cup Series events during the 2022 season.
“We’re thrilled to announce this partnership with such a fun and reputable company,” said Steve Newmark, President of RFK Racing. “I think I speak for many across our sport and country that the King’s Hawaiian brand immediately brings to mind quality and great taste, and we can’t wait to promote their classic offerings and new products to our entire fanbase.”
According to a press release from RFK Racing on Sunday, King’s Hawaiian will be the primary sponsor for the No. 6 car at Kansas Speedway, next weekend, and at Nashville Superspeedway in the summer.
For King’s Hawaiian, this partnership is a chance to promote their latest innovations.
“We are thrilled to partner with RFK Racing to announce the launch of our newest innovations, Pretzel Slider Buns and Pretzel Hamburger Buns, and introduce fans to a new weekly tradition, Slider Sunday with King’s Hawaiian,” said Samantha Guerreiro, Vice President of Marketing at King’s Hawaiian. “On Sundays, millions of fans across the country tune in to the sport with their friends and family – and we are inviting them to sweeten up their watch parties by serving up some sliders on King’s Hawaiian bread in celebration of Slider Sunday.”
In his first season serving as driver and co-owner of the RFK Racing team, Brad Keselowski has scored one top-10 finish through the season’s first 11 races. Keselowski has a decent average finish of 17.5, but sits 30th in the overall NASCAR Cup Series championship standings, due in large part to a 100-point penalty for illegal modifications of a single source supplied part following Atlanta Motor Speedway.
