Ryan Vargas will return to the Xfinity Series for this weekend’s Alsco Uniforms 300 at Charlotte, but he’s bringing another familiar name to NASCAR with him.

Alongside sponsor Swann Security, Best Buy will return to NASCAR, being featured on the sides of the No. 4 Camaro for the California driver.

“It’s so incredible to work with Swann Security to bring Best Buy back to NASCAR for the race in Charlotte,” Vargas said. “Best Buy has a long history in the sport and have worked with many incredible drivers through the years, so it’s an honor to have their branding on our race car!

The Swann Security design will also get a few patriotic tweaks with stars being added to the front fenders, and sides of Vargas’ Camaro. The scheme specifically will feature camera models that are exclusive to the tech retail giant.

We are looking forward to the Memorial Day race and are proud to sponsor Ryan Vargas along with our retail partner Best Buy,” says Leslie Conover, vice president of sales for the Americas. “The Swann team will be cheering him on from the sidelines.”

Best Buy has seen its fair share of success in NASCAR, most notably a Daytona 500 win in 2012 with Roush Fenway Racing’s Matt Kenseth. Other drivers including Ricky Stenhouse Jr., A.J. Allmendinger, Jeff Green, and Elliott Sadler have driven the blue and yellow of Best Buy. Geek Squad, the exclusive repair subsidiary of Best Buy, spent time with Carl Edwards in 2012 and 2013.

The paint scheme was designed by Leighton Sibille, who has been responsible for a number of JD Motorsports Camaros in 2021, including the original base design for Swann and Vargas earlier this season.

“I couldn’t be happier to help welcome in longtime NASCAR sponsor, Best Buy, back into the sport with Ryan Vargas and our team this weekend at Charlotte,” Sibille told TobyChristie.com. “The Swann paint scheme I designed first hit the track at the start of the season in Daytona and it’s been one of my favorites this year. We’re adding some stars to add to the patriotic color scheme for Memorial Day weekend, and the car turned out fantastic!”

Vargas brought Swann Communications in style when he finished 18th at Daytona in February, while also going viral in the process.

After getting caught up in a wreck at Daytona, Vargas was able to successfully get his car out of the infield grass to the praise of the Daytona fans.

This will be the second race for Swann Communications and Vargas in the original four-race deal that was announced back in February. Swann is expected to take Road America in July and Texas Motor Speedway in October. Texas was the sight of Vargas’ best Xfinity finish to date, with an eighth-place last season.

Fans can see the No. 4 Swann Security / Best Buy Camaro hit the track on Saturday, May 29th at 1:00 PM EST on FOX Sports 1 and the FOX Sports app.
