Austin Hill Rises to the Occasion, Bests Matt Crafton For Stage 1 Win at Dover

It has been an incredible 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series season for Hattori Racing Enterprises and their driver Austin Hill. Hill, has finished top-10 in nearly every race this season en route to being the point leader.

Friday, he kept the momentum going by getting around Matt Crafton for the lead on lap 27. Hill would cruise to the Stage 1 win in the KDI Office Technology 200 at Dover International Speedway.

Crafton held on to finish runner-up, while GMS Racing teammates Tyler Ankrum, Zane Smith and Brett Moffitt made up positions three thru five.

Sheldon Creed, Christian Eckes, Grant Enfinger, Raphael Lessard and Todd Gilliland rounded out the top-10.

It was a very clean Stage 1, the only stoppage for an incident came on lap six when Tate Fogleman spun in his No. 02 truck, but did not hit anything.
