Spire Motorsports has extended its relationship with B’laster Holdings, the home to trusted automotive brands B’laster and GUNK, for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, with the company returning to sponsor Michael McDowell in the No. 71 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

In 2026, B’laster Products will begin its sponsorship program with the second event of the NASCAR Cup Series campaign at EchoPark Speedway (formerly known as Atlanta Motor Speedway) with the B’laster brand.

The company will also promote its popular GUNK brand later in the season at Talladega Superspeedway (April 26).

Founded in 1957, B’laster Products are trusted in race shops and garages nationwide, offering a broad lineup that includes penetrants, lubricants, greases, solvents, protectants, refrigerants, and specialty chemicals designed to help professionals and DIYers to get the job done right.

“Racing is the ultimate proving ground, and that mindset is deeply embedded in everything we do at B’laster,” said Matt Bender, Marketing Director at B’laster Holdings. “Partnering with Michael and Spire Motorsports allows us to put our brands in front of passionate fans while reinforcing what B’laster and GUNK stand for – performance, reliability, and getting the job done under the toughest conditions.”

B’laster Holdings first partnered with Spire Motorsports in 2025, with McDowell collecting a 13th-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway last Spring with GUNK as a primary sponsor. Later in the year, as the NASCAR Cup Series went to Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez for the first time, McDowell scored a top-five with B’laster on his No. 71 Chevrolet.

“I’m thankful to represent B’laster Holdings again in 2026,” said McDowell. “We’ve built a strong partnership over the years, and their support means the world. Atlanta and Talladega are tracks we feel good about and real opportunities for us to race our way to Victory Lane.”

A native of Avondale, Arizona, McDowell is a veteran of nearly two decades in the NASCAR Cup Series, having spent time with a number of organizations as a journeyman driver in the late 2000s and early 2010s. The 41-year-old driver has two wins at NASCAR’s top-level, the 2021 DAYTONA 500 and 2023 Indy Road Course event.

McDowell joined Spire Motorsports last season with crew chief Travis Peterson, as the organization makes a concerted effort to improve its three-car program to race winners in the NASCAR Cup Series.

The AutoTrader 400 at EchoPark Speedway will take place on Sunday, February 22 at 3:00 PM ET on FOX, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
