NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Championship 4 contender Ross Chastain led nearly the entire first Stage of Friday night’s Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. However, with two laps remaining, Chastain was passed by Austin Hill who cruised to the Stage 1 win.

For the title contenders though, Stage points do not matter in this event as it is a winner-take-all battle for the championship.

Stewart Friesen followed Hill and Chastain to the stripe in Stage 1, while Brett Moffitt and Christian Eckes rounded out the top-five in Stage 1.

Matt Crafton was sixth, while Sheldon Creed finished seventh.

Tyler Ankrum was eighth in his final start with DGR Crosley and ThorSport teammates Grant Enfinger and Johnny Sauter were ninth and 10th.

Here are how the Championship 4 ended the Stage: Chastain 2nd, Friesen 3rd, Moffitt 4th and Crafton was sixth.
