Austin Cindric’s quest to win back-to-back NASCAR Xfinity Series championships is looking strong thus far, recording the second-fastest lap in the series’ only practice session and the fastest lap in Saturday Night’s qualifying session at Phoenix Raceway. The Team Penske Ford Mustang put down a time of 27.293 seconds / 131.902mph en-route to his eighth career pole.

John Hunter Nemechek will start in the runner-up position in the No. 54 Toyota Supra, as Joe Gibbs Racing looks to capture the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series Owner’s Championship. Justin Allgaier, Daniel Hemric, and Riley Herbst will all start inside the top-five, with Brandon Jones, Noah Gragson, Justin Haley, Jeb Burton, and Sheldon Creed rounding out the top-10.
