ATYL: Brad Keselowski Breaks Winless Streak at Darlington | Buescher and Reddick Collide (Race Analysis)

After a 110-race winless streak, Brad Keselowski is finally back in victory lane!

It was only a matter of time before the 40-year-old captured the checkered flag this year. Looking at Keselowski’s results so far this season, he’s racked up six top-10s and five top-5s, and for the past several races, the No. 6 has noticeably gained consistency and speed. Finally, during the Goodyear 400, the team was able to put the whole race together and capture Ford’s first win across all three NASCAR National Series.

Overall, it was a positive day for the OEM as half of the top 10 was made up of Dark Horse Mustangs. Josh Berry crossed the line with an impressive third-place finish while his teammate, Chase Briscoe, ended the race in fifth. Justin Haley turned heads with a ninth-place result while Michael McDowell, who just announced he would join Spire Motorsports in 2025, rounded out the top 10.

Though the blue ovals are starting to find momentum, it seems RFK Racing is setting the tone for their manufacturer as both cars have been in contention for race wins the past few weeks.

However, while Keselowski was celebrating a long-awaited race win, his teammate was left wondering what could have been for the second race in a row. This time, the “what if” came down to a slide job gone wrong by the driver of the No. 45. Tyler Reddick was determined to make the move work underneath Buescher’s Fifth Third Bank car. Unfortunately, the consequence of a risky action saw both drivers’ chances at a win come to an end, finishing the Goodyear 400 outside the top-20.

Following the race, the two drivers confronted each other on pit road and got into a heated conversation.
