A couple of weeks ago, Ross Chastain and Kaulig Racing announced that Moose Fraternity would be adorning their No. 10 NASCAR Xfinity Series race car for three events in 2020.

According to Moose Fraternity’s website, their scheduled sponsorship for Chastain’s No. 10 NXS car for Daytona International Speedway was moved to Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 car for this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 due to, “a racing team commitment.”

Despite the fact that the entry list for the race has not been released yet and the No. 77 team roster has not been submitted yet, representative from Spire Motorsports has confirmed that the 27-year old driver will be behind the wheel of the No. 77 car in the race with Moose Fraternity as the sponsor this weekend.

It’s important to note that Justin Haley scored his first-career NASCAR Cup Series win last July in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona driving Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 car. The win came after the race was shortened due to rain.

Chastain has made six NASCAR Cup Series starts in 2020, one in the season-opening Daytona 500, three more i relief of the injured Ryan Newman as well as the Coca-Cola 600 and Brickyard 400 in the No. 77.

The Florida-native’s best career Cup Series finish was a 10th-place effort in the 2019 Daytona 500.

Despite not winning a race in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition this season, Chastain has been incredibly consistent. He has recorded 18 top-10 finishes through the first 21 races of the season.
