Lowden-Jackson Motorsports Send Two Cars To The Desert, Phoenix Raceway

As the ARCA Menards Series West is set to wrap up on the 2023 season, Lowden-Jackson Motorsports is heading with full forces to the track and end the year on a similar note to earlier this year at Phoenix Raceway.

The Las Vegas-based team is partnering with Tillys to be on the hood of both the No. 41 and No. 46 Ford’s. The team will look to double down at the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 150. The team took home the win earlier this year in the first ARCA Menards Series West race with Tyler Reif behind the wheel of the 46-car.

“We’re really excited to have Tillys come on board,” said team owner Chris Lowden.

Getting behind the wheel for the team are two new drivers. Justin Johnson will hop in the No. 46 at the one-mile oval.

“My focus is on this event,” he said. “My plan is to stay out of wrecks and be there at the end of the race. The last time I ran Phoenix was in a Camping World Truck Series race where I finished eighth,” Johnson added.

“I have to thank Al Bud, Chris Lowden, and the Jackson family for making this happen.”

Joining the team at the low-banded speedway will be Johnny Borneman III in the No. 41 car.

“I’ve ran at Phoenix since 2000 (not consecutively) in the ARCA and Xfinity series. I’ve raced the old layout as well as the new layout. My personal goal is to finish in the top five and run competitively all day,” Borneman said about the chance to get back behind the wheel.

“I’ve known the Jacksons since the late 90s; they’ve always been great people. I’m excited to be able to work with them piloting the Tilly’s/Filter Time No. 41 ARCA car,” he added.

You can catch the two Lowden-Jackson Motorsports cars on the track at Phoenix Raceway live on FloRacing this Friday at 2:30 PM ET/ 11:30 AM PT.
