Brenden “Butterbean” Queen will compete for the 2025 ARCA Menards Series championship with Pinnacle Racing Group, the organization announced on Wednesday.

Queen, the defending champion of the zMAX CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car division, will be driving the No. 28 Best Repair Company Chevrolet SS, beginning Saturday, February 15 at Daytona International Speedway.

“We couldn’t be happier to have Brenden and Josh [Staton] with Best Repair Company come on board for 2025,” said Shane Huffman, General Manager of Pinnacle Racing Group. “We’ve all been able to watch Brenden’s talent shine while he has been with Lee Pulliam the last two seasons in the CARS Tour. His personality and charisma are infectious and are going to fit well with PRG and our culture.”

The Chesapeake, Virginia native is a standout in the Late Model Stock Car world, capturing three championships at Langley Speedway, as well as seven CARS Tour victories in the last three seasons.

Other marquee wins for Queen include the Hampton Heat 200, South Carolina 400, Battle of the Stars, the 2023 Thanksgiving Classic, as well as a victory at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway.

This season, Queen made his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at North Wilkesboro, driving the No. 1 for TRICON Garage. After a fourth-place result, the 27-year-old driver returned for additional events at Nashville and Kansas, scoring a pair of top-20s.

“I’m super blessed to have this opportunity ahead to go chase a national championship in the ARCA Menards Series,” said Queen. “PRG has proven they are a contender week-in and week-out and I can’t wait to get to work with the whole organization. I never knew if I’d get the chance to go race at this level, so I’m ready to make the most of it and seize the opportunity. I cannot thank team owner Mark Webb, Shane Huffman, and John Staton of Best Repair Company enough for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to continue to chase my dream.”

Steven Dawson will serve as the crew chief of the No. 28 Pinnacle Racing Group Chevrolet in 2025. Dawson moved to the role for the final event of the 2024 season at Phoenix, in which the organization went to Victory Lane with Connor Zilisch.

“I’m so excited to have Brenden paired with Steven Dawson,” said Huffman. “This will be Steven’s first foray as a crew chief on paper, but his passion and leadership have been instrumental in our success since day one.”

Pinnacle Racing Group (PRG) will look to have similar success to last season in the ARCA Menards Series, where the organization captured eight victories in 18 starts between drivers Connor Zilisch and Connor Mosack.
