Nitro Motorsports, a successful sports car race team, will expand its footprint to the ARCA Menards Series in 2025 as the team has forged a technical alliance with Venturini Motorsports. The organization will also receive engineering and driver support from Toyota.

For Nitro Motorsports, this move is something that the team has been eyeing for some time, and they are proud to be able to expand into the ARCA Menards Series with one of the greatest teams to ever compete in the ranks.

“This is huge for us as a team and something that we have been looking to complete for quite some time,” explained team owner Nick Tucker. “To add another rung to our driver development ladder by joining the winningest team in ARCA history shows our commitment to motorsports and driver development from karting through the upper tiers in motorsport. We are thankful for the opportunity and are well underway in building this program behind the scenes.”

Venturini Motorsports, which boasts a record of 77 wins, and three championships in the ARCA Menards Series, feels Nitro Motorsports will be a team to keep an eye on in the near future.

“Nick Tucker and Nitro Motorsports have been a quality race team in every series that they have competed in. We look forward to helping accelerate their ARCA learning curve and helping them become a force to be reckoned with immediately,” said Billy Venturini, owner of Venturini Motorsports. “We already have great synergy between Venturini Motorsports and Nitro Motorsports, and we look forward to developing this relationship further.”

Toyota Racing Development, which has played a pivotal role in the development of many drivers who have found success in ARCA on their path to the NASCAR National Series ranks, is elated to add another team under its umbrella in 2025.

“We are pleased to expand our team relationships in the ARCA Menards Series ranks by adding Nitro Motorsports to our accomplished roster,” said Trent Rodriguez, Manager, Driver Development, TRD U.S.A. “Our team has worked with Nick and the entire group at Nitro Motorsports for several years in Toyota GR Cup and Trans Am competition, and we are excited they are growing their program to compete in the ARCA Menards Series. We look forward to achieving much success together next season and in the years to come.”

Nitro Motorsports competed in four ARCA Menards Series events in 2024 in partnership with McClure Motorsports. In the four races, Thomas Annunziata scored two top-five finishes, and three top-10s, and had a worst finish of 12th. Annunziata’s best finish was a stirring runner-up finish in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

While no driver, car number, or any other details were included in the press release on Wednesday, Nitro Motorsports says further announcements will be coming ahead of the 2025 season.
