Brandon Jones will be on the pole for Friday night’s General Tire 150 from Charlotte Motor Speedway with the lap time of 30.829 he set in the practice/qualifying session.

This will be the first of five starts in the ARCA Menards Series this season for Jones, Joe Gibbs Racing announced earlier this week.

Drew Dollar will join Jones, the NASCAR Xfinity Series regular, on the front row looking for redemption after an incident with Corey Heim at Kansas while battling for the lead led to a viral quote from Heim’s car owner Billy Venturini, where Venturini stated that Dollar had no business driving a race car.

Daniel Dye and Rajah Caruth make up the second row as they continue their heated battle for the season championship.

Connor Mosack, who recently was revealed as Joe Gibbs Racing’s driver for the upcoming Xfinity race at Portland, rounded out the top-five in ARCA qualifying at Charlotte.

Parker Chase, Nick Sanchez, Corey Heim, Will Kimmel, and Greg Van Alst make up the rest of the top-ten on the grid.

The General Tire 150 is set to get underway at 6:00p.m. ET on Friday, May 27th. The race will be broadcast on FS1.
