There is no love lost between Jesse Love and William Sawalich after the two ARCA Menards Series hot shoes made contact late in last week’s ARCA Menards Series event at Berlin Raceway.
The feud reignited on Lap 150 of Saturday’s ARCA Menards Series Menards 250 at Elko Speedway, as Love made contact with Sawalich while battling for the race lead.
After Love roughed Sawalich up, Sean Hingorani got into Sawalich to send the driver of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota spinning out of the runner-up spot.

As a result of the incident, Sawalich went from second to eighth in the running order.
Last week, Sawalich made contact with Love for the race lead at Berlin Raceway with two laps to go. After Sawalich made the move to get past Love, Love’s No. 20 Venturini Motorsports Toyota had a catastrophic failure under the hood.

Sawalich admitted that the move was, “a little bit more dirty than I wanted to,” and Love vowed to return the favor on Sawalich.
“I’ve just been raced by the 18 really dirty in a lot of different races throughout my whole ARCA career so. I’m gonna ballpark him every chance I get,” Love said after the race at Berlin.
