Christian Rose was not pleased with Conner Jones following Friday’s ARCA Menards Series event at IRP, and decided to make his feelings well-known afterwards.

Following the Reese’s 200 for the ARCA Menards Series at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, Christian Rose and Conner Jones exchanged words, and some slight contact, after climbing from their vehicles.

Rose, who drives the No. 32 Ford Mustang for AM Racing, was frustrated with the Venturini Motorsports driver after a late-race incident that saw the former Division I Baseball Player get turned off the front bumper of the No. 25.

After having a discussion, which looked to be quite heated, Rose went ahead and slapped away the hand of the 17-year-old driver, which caused the people standing around the pair to jump into action.

However, the leap into action by the crew member wearing a ThorSport Racing polo had the opposite impact as intended, as Rose became more angry and began shoving, and yelling at Jones and the people around him.

Eventually, a crew member from AM Racing continued to push Rose away from Jones, thus ending the altercation.

The frustration for the Martinsburg, West Virginia native comes as a result of losing out on a potentially career-high finish in the ARCA Menards Series, while also damaging his Ford Mustang, and putting him three laps off the pace, in 10th.

Conner Jones, continuing in his partial schedule for Venturini Motorsports, would come home in sixth place after the incident, after putting himself and the No. 25 Toyota Camry team inside the top five for the majority of the race.

Jones isn’t done for Friday, though, as he’ll compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Indianapolis Raceway Park, as he takes on the T-Sport 200 in the T-Sport-sponsored No. 66 Ford F-150.
