After having a stellar rookie campaign that led to the title in the ARCA Menards Series West, Sean Hingorani has found a new home in Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE).

The team announced that the Newport Beach, CA native would join the team to pilot the No. 61 Toyota Camry. It’s unclear what the full schedule will be for both Hattori and Hingorani but they have confirmed they will be at Phoenix Raceway for the General Tire 150 on March 8th, the second race for the ARCA Menards Series and the season opener for the ARCA Menards Series West.

The 17-year-old is coming off a stellar rookie campaign, where he won the ARCA Menards Series West drivers championship with four wins, seven top-fives, eight top-10s, and 95.1 percent of laps completed while driving for Venturini Motorsports.

“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be piloting the #61 Fidelity Capital Toyota Camry for Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE) in the 2024 ARCA Menards Series! HRE consistently fields competitive cars, and I’m confident we can challenge the top contenders this season. Returning to familiar tracks with valuable experience under my belt gives me a strong foundation for success,” said Hingorani. “

I’m grateful for the support of Fidelity Capital, HMS Motorsport, and Two Four Speed Media for the 2024 season. I can’t wait to make our debut together at the season opener for us in Phoenix,” he added.

Hingorani also made select NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series last year, one with Hattori where he finished 23rd at the Milwaukee Mile.

This also marks the team’s first plans that Hattori has made since announcing they were scaling back plans for the 2024 season. Hattori began their part-time time in the Truck Series in 2013 with Brett Moffitt, who would take them to the Truck Series title in 2018. They are also coming off a win in the ARCA Menards Series with Tyler Ankrum winning at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

“Sean has quickly demonstrated significant potential in his early career, and we’re thrilled to welcome a driver of his caliber to Hattori Racing Enterprises,” team owner Shige Hattori said.

“We believe he possesses the talent and drive to achieve great things with our team, and we’re excited to partner with Fidelity Capital to chase success in the 2024 ARCA Menards Series.”

You can catch Hingorani’s ARCA Menards Series season debut at Phoenix Raceway on March 8th live on FS1 at 8 PM EST.
