Part-time ARCA racer and U.S. Air Force pilot Ryan Roulette announced that he will become a team owner in 2023. Roulette competed in two events in ARCA in 2022 and will run his no. 22 Ford this year in the upcoming ARCA Menards Series West schedule.
The North Dakota native will be at the upcoming ARCA Menards and West Series race at Phoenix on March 10th.
“Toward the later part of the 2022 season, I was looking at my next move, and my choices were to run one or two more races last year with the funding, partnerships, and inquiries that were coming in, or I could look to possibly go in a different direction and be able to fund a more significant season in 2023 if I owned everything,” Roulette said.
The 36-year-old plans to compete in as many ARCA West races as he can due to his work schedule and team funding.
Roulette has also partnered with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). They will serve as an anchor sponsor for the team during the 2023 season.
“We’re really looking forward to (telling) both my story wrapped up with what they do and what they represent,” Roulette said. “Not only will be working with local VFW posts near the races I’ll be at, but we’re also working together to bring awareness to the VFW Unmet Needs Program.,” Roulette added.
In two-career ARCA Menards Series West starts, Roulette has a career-best finish of 22nd, which came at Phoenix Raceway last season driving Andrew Tuttle’s No. 85 Toyota.
