On Tuesday, ARCA released the entry list for the upcoming January 13-14 ARCA Menards Series pre-race practice session at Daytona International Speedway. There are 60 drivers on the list, and it’s an interesting mix of drivers.
Included in the session will be six drivers who will fall under the new ‘Road to Daytona’ program, which will include 2022 champions from the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series.
The six ‘Road to Daytona’ drivers, which will drive a Fast Track Racing entry are Jake Drew, Billy Van Meter, Harley Jankowski, Leland Honeyman, Jon McKennedy, and Layne Riggs.
2022 ARCA Menards Series champion Nick Sanchez, who is set to run the full NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season with Rev Racing, is on the list. Brad Perez, who made a couple of NASCAR National Series starts in 2022, is also on the list as one of seven drivers listed for the No. 3 Mullins Racing entry.
Andres Perez De Lara is on the list along with Lavar Scott in the No. 6 Rev Racing entry.
Other notable entries include Amber Balcaen in the No. 15 Venturini entry, Connor Mosack in the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing entry, Christian Rose in the No. 32 AM Racing entry, Robby Lyons in the No. 42 Cook Racing Technologies entry and Patrick Emerling and Joe Graf Jr. are both listed in the No. 53 Emerling-Gase Motorsports entry.
