Paretta Autosport will have Acumatica as the primary sponsor for its No. 16 Chevrolet entry for this weekend’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix.
Acumatica, the world’s fastest growing cloud ERP company, “continues to invest in diversity and prioritizes hiring talented women,” according to the press release. The company revealed 40 percent of the employees hired in 2021 were female. Additionally, the company hosts an annual Summit, which features the Women in Tech Luncheon to “empower women from Acumatica and across its customer and partner ecosystem.”
The company’s logo joins the only female-owned, female-driven and female-forward outfit in the NTT IndyCar Series. The combination of fan-favorite Simona De Silvestro, who will be making her and the team’s third appearance of the season, along with owner and team principal Beth Paretta, helps comprise a team of more than 65 percent women, including four over-the-wall female crew members.
“Acumatica is a perfect company to sponsor the Paretta Autosport car at the Music City Grand Prix,” said Paretta. “Like us, Acumatica is passionate about deepening its diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. We’re proud to manifest those efforts on the racetrack to inspire others. We look forward to welcoming them to our team and to IndyCar racing.”
For Paretta Autosport, who have a technical alliance with Ed Carpenter Racing, the round on the Streets of Nashville concludes its previously announced three-race campaign for 2022, following events also at Road America and Mid-Ohio.
John Case, CEO of Acumatica, added, “We’re thrilled to sponsor Paretta Autosport at the IndyCar Series Race in Nashville. “We are laser-focused on our AcumatiCares program, which aims to make the world a better, more inclusive place. Paretta Autosport’s commitment to training the next generation of women in STEM resonates deeply with us as we seek to create opportunities for women in our industry.”
