Jesse Love grabbed the pole for Saturday’s Shore Lunch 200 at Toledo Speedway, but there are much higher stakes up for grabs on the famed short track.

Two young drivers will go head-to-head to culminate a points battle that’s lasted all season long, with the prize being the ARCA Menards Series championship. Those two drivers? Nick Sanchez and Daniel Dye.

Sanchez, up just two points on Dye, already started his day with some issues. The Rev Racing team had to make an engine swap just before qualifying, limiting the points leaders practice time.

Nonetheless, Sanchez was able to hop in Rajah Caruth’s No. 6 to get some much needed laps.

As for Dye, his No. 43 Chevrolet is dialed in and he will start second for the event alongside Love.

Other storylines in the race include young phenom Sammy Smith, who can jump up to fourth in the point standings with a solid run over Greg Van Alst being just one point behind. As well as the pole sitter Love, who is just seven points behind Taylor Gray for the ninth spot in the full season standings.

It all goes down at 4:00p.m. ET, live on FloRacing and MAVTV.
