Mason Mitchell, who won the ARCA Menards Series championship in 2014, will contest a three-race schedule in the series in 2025 driving for Venturini Motorsports the team announced on Thursday.

Mitchell will slide behind the wheel of one of the Venturini Motorsports Toyota entries at both Kansas Speedway races as well as the August 1 event at Iowa Speedway, his home track.

The 30-year-old racer, who made his first ARCA Menards Series start since 2018 last year in a fourth-place effort at Iowa Speedway, says he enjoys racing in the series and is ready to battle at Kansas and Iowa this year.

“I feel at home racing in the ARCA series, the success, the relationships, and time spent with the series, I enjoy it a lot,” Mitchell said. “Kansas and Iowa are my favorite places because of them being in my backyard, the success we’ve had and they always provide for great racing.”

This will not be the first time Mitchell has competed for Venturini Motorsports. The Iowa native made one start for the team in 2015 at Berlin Raceway, which resulted in a runner-up finish for the driver.

“VMS and I have had a competitive but positive relationship over the years, our one-off race in 2015 was great and now we will have a few races to prepare to go win.”

In addition to his 2014 championship, Mitchell has collected three wins over 56 career starts in the ARCA Menards Series ranks, including one at Kansas Speedway, and one at Iowa Speedway. Mitchell has also amassed 25 top-five finishes, 45 top-10s, and seven poles in ARCA competition.
