Nick Sanchez, who narrowly missed out on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship 4 in his rookie season in 2023, will return to the Rev Racing No. 2 Gainbridge Chevrolet Silverado in 2024.

“I am thrilled to be returning to Rev Racing for a full season in the NCTS,” said Nick Sanchez. “I certainly have some unfinished business. I am grateful for another opportunity to compete with Max and appreciative for the returning support of my partners at Gainbridge. They truly are catalysts in my career and continue to drive positive change in our sport. I am energized by the new talent I have surrounding me in 2024, but feel foundationally grounded by those that are returning for a second season. The team makeup is positioned for success and we are all focused on the same goal, to win a Championship.”

Rev Racing, which had a technical alliance with Kyle Busch Motorsports last season will have a partnership with Spire Motorsports, which acquired the KBM team and shop late last year.

With the return of Sanchez, the team announced the addition of veteran crew chief Kevin “Bono” Manion.

“I am really looking forward to working with Nick in the upcoming season,” said Manion. “He is incredibly committed to his craft and I know we are going to work really well together. We have a great group of guys surrounding this effort and we are positioned for success, we just need to execute.”

The team will also add Allen Hart as the chief engineer of the No. 2 truck for the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. Hart was most recently the crew chief for Sam Hunt Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

While Sanchez is still seeking his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory, the driver of the No. 2 truck teetered very close to victory lane in 2023 as he scored two top-five finishes and 12 top-10s. Sanchez also had a penchant for the front row as he scored five poles last year.

Manion was a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series championship crew chief with Martin Truex Jr. at Chance 2 Motorsports in 2004 and 2005, and Manion has tasted the spoils of victory lane in the NASCAR Cup Series in several races including in the Daytona 500, Brickyard 400 with Jamie McMurray.
