Pye-Barker Fire & Safety Backing John Hunter Nemechek in Cup, Xfinity for 2024

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety will continue its support of John Hunter Nemechek in 2024, per the company’s website, agreeing to a seven-race program between the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Nemechek will carry the company’s branding in four events at NASCAR’s top-level next season, as he embarks on his second full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series, and his first driving for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB.

The No. 42 Pye-Barker Fire & Safety Toyota Camry XSE will make its on-track debut in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (July 21), as the series returns to the facility’s oval configuration after several years absent.

A month later, the sponsor will make its second appearance of the Cup Series season at Daytona International Speedway (August 24), before returning to the racetrack for events at Bristol Motor Speedway (September 21) and Las Vegas Motor Speedway (October 20).

However, before debuting in the NASCAR Cup Series, Pye-Barker will be supporting Nemechek in three Xfinity Series events, starting with the opening two races of the season at Daytona (February 17) and Atlanta (February 24).

Nashville Superspeedway (June 29) will round out the company’s stint in the Xfinity Series with Nemechek in 2024. However, Pye-Barker’s website failed to mention which team the effort would be for.

TobyChristie.com reached out to Joe Gibbs Racing to see if the organization would house Nemechek in 2024, but have yet to receive a response as of the time of publishing. The organization will announce its full driver lineup at 10:00 AM on December 13th.
