3F Racing, an aspiring NASCAR Cup Series team, will field an entry in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series’ first-ever trip to Oschersleben, Germany on September 23rd and 24th, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The campaign will be a joint effort between 3F Racing and Team FJ, owned by Jerome Galpin, Series Director of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, in order to promote 3F Racing’s Driver Development in the United States.

Ryan Vargas, a part-time driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will get behind the wheel of the No. 30 Critical Path Security Chevrolet Camaro for the organization’s on-track debut in a NASCAR Touring Series event.

“I am incredibly humbled to make the trip to Germany to run in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Race with my friends at 3F Racing,” said Vargas. “It’s always been a dream of mine to race overseas and to do that with the support of my friends at Critical Path Security makes it all the more special. I’ve been a fan of the series for quite some time and the idea of taking on a new challenge in a whole different car and track is an exciting one.”

The 22-year-old driver, who primarily competes for On Point Motorsports in the NASCAR Truck Series, also serves as the Head of Team and Driver Development for 3F Racing, as the organization moves closer to its goal of competing at NASCAR’s top level.

“It’s an honor to finally hit the track with 3F Racing on their home turf,” Vargas continued. “The process of helping them expand their footprint into the United States with the Late Model Program has been a fun project to say the least, and I firmly believe that us making this race happen will only bring more eyes to the program.”

Less than one week later, Critical Path Security will join Vargas for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Talladega Superspeedway, where he’ll drive the No. 30 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.

The pair of NASCAR Euro Pro Series events around the 3.696-kilometer facility will take place on Saturday, September 23 at 8:00 AM ET, and Sunday, September 24 at 8:30 AM ET. Coverage for both of these events will be shown live and on-demand, as well as on the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series YouTube channel.
