AJ Allmendinger will carry a brand new partner on his No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 when the NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Chicago Street Course for the Grant Park 220. Bath Planet will serve as the primary sponsor for the driver and team in the event.

As part of the partnership, Bath Planet will actually give away a one-day bath remodel to a lucky fan. Allmendinger is excited about the new partnership and excited that a loyal fan will score a new look to their home bathroom.

“I’m excited to have Bath Planet on board for the Chicago Street Course,” AJ Allmendinger said in a team release. “Street course racing takes me back to my roots and it’s some of the most fun I’ve had racing in my life. It’ll be fun to get there and see what the Cup car is like on this style track. I’m looking forward to putting on a good show and giving away a one-day bath remodel to a fan.”

Bath Planet, which is a subsidiary of parent company BCI Acrylic Inc., operates with the motto of, “Out of this world service. Down to Earth price.”

Partnering with the brand on a historically significant weekend, where the NASCAR Cup Series will participate in its first-ever street course race, makes the effort even more special.

“We’re excited to welcome our new partnership with Bath Planet and its parent company, BCI Acrylic, Inc. on board our No. 16 car at what is going to be a historic weekend,” said Chris Rice, Kaulig Racing team president. Being a trusted brand by homeowners and providing the highest quality customer service gives us confidence in how our core values at Kaulig Racing align with those of Bath Planet. We hope this is the beginning of what is sure to be a great relationship.”

While Allmendinger returned to full-time NASCAR Cup Series racing with Kaulig Racing for the 2023 season, the 41-year-old racer is a road racing expert. Allmendinger’s two-career NASCAR Cup Series wins have come on road course tracks, and with his ability to quickly adapt to new road venues, he should be expected to be in contention for the win at the Chicago Street Course.

The NASCAR Cup Series Grant Park 220 is set for Sunday, July 2nd. The event will take place at 5:30 PM ET and will be televised on NBC.
