After running ninth with 11 to go, William Byron found his way to victory lane in Sunday’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway, and after a complete teardown of the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro, the 25-year-old has officially claimed his third win of 2023.

NASCAR officially announced the completion of the post-race technical inspection at 8:40 PM ET, approximately 120 minutes following the conclusion of the event.

The victory marks Byron’s seventh in the NASCAR Cup Series, three of which have come this season for Hendrick Motorsports. Another milestone surpassed is the No. 24 has officially moved into the triple-digit win mark.

In addition to Byron’s No. 24 AXALTA Chevrolet Camaro clearing post-race inspection, there were no other major issues, meaning that all race results and point standings distributed by NASCAR are now deemed official.

However, NASCAR will bring the No. 20 (Christopher Bell) and No. 21 (Harrison Burton) back to NASCAR’s R&D Center for further teardown and evaluation.

Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, and Bubba Wallace will each retain their positions inside the top five, with Harrison Burton, Kyle Busch, Justin Haley, Ryan Blaney, and Chris Buescher officially earning top-10s.
