Matteo Nannini Scores First Indy NXT Pole at Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A rapid eight-minute qualifying session for Indy NXT saw Juncos Hollinger Racing claim their first pole position of the season.

Matteo Nannini topped the timing screens with a fastest lap of 1 minute, 15.3194 seconds to average 116.576 mph in the No. 75 JHR entry. Second fastest was Hunter McElrea in the No. 27 Andretti Autosport car ahead of Louis Foster in the No. 26 Andretti Autosport machine.

The top three were separated by .1876 seconds and all cars except last place were under one second behind Nannini’s time.
