The mini-big one hit early in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, when Harrison Burton, who was running 12th at the time, went for a spin off the front bumper of Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s No. 47 car on Lap 24.

As Burton went sliding uncontrolled near the front of the field, numerous cars, including some Playoff contenders, piled in.

The Playoff drivers involved in this crash were Austin Cindric and Joey Logano, who received slight damage. Meanwhile, Bubba Wallace, who is driving the No. 45, which is in the NASCAR Cup Series Owner’s Championship Playoffs was also involved slightly.

In all, nine cars were collected in this first crash of the race.
