Kyle Larson post race inspection Watkins Glen official winner
Kyle Larson has been named the official winner of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at The Glen after his No. 5 car passed post-race inspection.

Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at The Glen from Watkins Glen International has been completed.

Kyle Larson’s race-winning No. 5 HendrickCars.com Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Larson and his team the official winners of the race.

For Larson, this win meant a sweep of the NASCAR weekend at Watkins Glen as he also won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday. This victory is Larson’s second of the 2022 season, and it equals his 18th-career win in NASCAR Cup Series competition.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means that all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official.

AJ Allmendinger will officially be credited as the runner-up finisher of the race, while Joey Logano, Chase Elliott and Daniel Suarez rounded out the top-five finishers in the race.

With one race remaining in the NASCAR Cup Series regular season, Ryan Blaney holds the final spot in the Playoff Grid as he has a 25-point cushion over Martin Truex Jr.

The NASCAR Cup Series regular-season finale will take place next weekend at Daytona International Speedway.
