Ryan Ellis and Parker Kligerman – two drivers looking to have a strong showing at IMS – have been taken out of a shot of a solid finish, after the No. 35 lost brakes heading into turn seven, collecting Ellis.

Parker Kligerman and Ryan Ellis were two drivers who entered Saturday’s Pennzoil 150 hoping to have a chance at decent showings for their respective organizations but will instead find themselves out of the event early.

Kligerman, who had suffered from a plethora of mechanical issues throughout the weekend, lost the brakes on his No. 35 Toyota Supra spinning to the inside of the apex in turn seven, slamming into Ryan Ellis’ No. 44.

The damage to both entries was substantial and would eventually require both cars to retire from the event, earning finishes of 36th and 37th.
