On Wednesday, SRX Racing announced that Progressive would continue its relationship with the series for a second consecutive year, electing once again to adorn Michael Waltrip’s No. 15 car for the entire 2022 schedule.

“I’m really excited to have Progressive on board this season,” said Waltrip. “Last year we had a great run together and I can’t wait to get back to the track in front of our great fans and show them some good, short-track racing on Saturday nights during the summer. We’ve got a great group this season and I know the show will be one you won’t want to miss each week.”

Waltrip – a two-time winner of the Daytona 500 — returns to SRX for a second straight season. In the series’ inaugural campaign, Waltrip recorded a best feature race finish of fifth at Knoxville Raceway, after leading six laps.

“Progressive is an outstanding sponsor for SRX so we are very excited about their 2022 return to the race car driven by Michael Waltrip,” said SRX CEO Don Hawk. ”We appreciate the relationship and look forward to many more years together.”

In addition to the company’s primary placement on Waltrip’s No. 15 car, Progressive will serve as an associate sponsor of all cars throughout the season with banners at each track and start/finish line branding.

The 2022 SRX Season begins Saturday, June 18 at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. Following the season-opener, the series will visit South Boston Speedway, Stafford Speedway, Nashville Fairgrounds, I-55 Raceway, and Sharon Speedway.

All six events will once again air on CBS Primetime from 8:00 pm / ET to 10:00 pm / ET.
