Austin Dillon’s Big Machine Racing No. 48 suffered a right-front flat ater contact with Brandon Jones, sending him into the turn three wall, collecting four more cars.

Just one week following Big Machine Racing’s first career NASCAR Xfinity Series victory at Texas Motor Speedway with Tyler Reddick, the organization’s luck has taken a turn for the worse.

After contact with Brandon Jones on a restart in stage three, Austin Dillon cut a right-front tire entering turn three, which triggered a major five-car accident in turn three at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Ryan Sieg, Stefan Parsons, Anthony Alfredo, and Joe Graf Jr. were innocent victims of Dillon’s misfortune, all of which would receive critical damage to their entries, forcing a slew of retirements.
