Video: Aggressive Push Sends Harrison Burton Upside Down, Collects Byron, Busch, Hamlin, and Others

Sunday’s Daytona 500 has been relatively calm up until this point, as an aggressive push by Brad Keselowski has turned Rookie of The Year contender, Harrison Burton exiting turn two, which eventually sent the No. 21 Ford Mustang upside down.

The accident started when the No. 21 got turned down the track, into William Byron and Kyle Busch. Also involved were Ross Chastain, Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, and Alex Bowman amongst others.

Byron’s No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet Camaro made significant contact with the inside wall, destroying his Hendrick Motorsports entry.

Ross Chastain, Harrison Burton, William Byron, Denny Hamlin, and Christopher Bell were all taken out of the race, recording finishes outside the top-30 in the season-opener at Daytona.

Harrison Burton was checked and released from the infield care center.

  1. I watched the vid 3 times and still cannot see how that took Denny Hamlin out of the race. He did a 360 spin at the last of the video and there doesn’t appear to be much damage. Kyle came back out from the wreck. Burton didn’t land on him or anything……
