Sheldon Creed has finished second twice in his previous 36-career NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series starts, but coming into Saturday night, he was still in search of that elusive first career win. The 22-year old GMS Racing driver scored the Stage 2 win in the Buckle up in Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

When lightning delayed the race at the conclusion of Stage 2 and subsequent storms forced NASCAR to shorten the distance of the event, Creed became a first-time winner in the Series.

Ben Rhodes went from the rear of the field to finish second, while his ThorSport Racing teammates Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter were third and fourth.

Austin Hill scored another solid top-five finish.

Christian Eckes, Stage 1 Winner Zane Smith, Derek Kraus, Tanner Gray and Todd Gilliland rounded out the top-10 finishers in the race.
