Austin Hill may have led 29 of the 30 laps in the opening Stage of Saturday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Baptist health 200, but on the final lap of the Stage, Ross Chastain worked around the No. 16 truck for the Stage win.

Hill was cruising to the Stage win, until a crash involving Zane Smith, Chase Elliott and Brett Moffitt brought out the yellow late in Stage 1.

This set up a couple lap shootout, which doomed Hill.

Ben Rhodes snuck around Hill in the final turn of the Stage as well for second.

Hill finished third and he was followed by Grant Enfinger and Matt Crafton in fourth and fifth.

Todd Gilliland, Christian Eckes, Raphael Lessard, Stewart Friesen and Sheldon Creed rounded out the top-10 finishers in Stage 1.

Kyle Busch, who had to drop to the rear of the field and serve a pass through penalty on the start of the race, ended the Stage 33rd and was the last truck on the lead lap.
