Brandon Jones is putting together a performance for the ages in Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 19 Toyota Supra in Saturday’s Performance Alliance Group 300 at Auto Club Speedway. Jones has led every lap in the race thru the end of Stage 2.

Jones cruised to the Stage 2 win by more than 1.8-seconds over Daniel Hemric in JR Motorsports’ No. 8 entry.

This means that Jones has now racked up a total of two Playoff points and 20 NASCAR Xfinity Series regular season driver points through the first 70 laps of Saturday’s race.

Rookie Harrison Burton ended the Stage in third after successfully getting a chunk of debris removed from his grille.

Chase Briscoe has looked like he has a car that could contend with Jones for the win, but in Stage 2, Briscoe slapped the wall a couple of times in the closing laps. Briscoe still sits fourth at the end of Stage 2.

Austin Cindric rounded out the top-five in Stage 2, while Riley Herbst, Ross Chastain, Justin Allgaier, Ryan Sieg and Michael Annett capped the top-10 and scored Stage Points.
