NASCAR’s Canadian race series — the NASCAR Pinty’s Series — is scheduled to run their first-ever dirt race this August at Ohsweken Speedway in Ontario. Well, it appears the race is already drawing some big and interesting names, as Kenny Wallace dropped on Friday, that he’ll be a part of the first Pinty’s Dirt Race.

Wallace, 56, is a former long-time competitor in the NASCAR National Series ranks.

In 344 NASCAR Cup Series starts, the Missouri native’s career-best finish was second, which he achieved three times. Additionally, Wallace scored nine wins throughout 547 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series career and he also ran 13 races in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series.

Since retiring from NASCAR National Series competition, Wallace has gone touring the country to race on dirt.
