Ryan Truex will join a new-look Niece Motorsports team for the 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series season in a part-time capacity sharing the team’s No. 40 truck throughout the year with Ross Chastain and Carson Hocevar. Truex will run six races for the team and will bring sponsorship from Marquis, a company that produces hot tubs.

Truex made the announcement on Twitter:

The six races that Truex will run are: Texas, Kentucky, Michigan, Las Vegas  in the fall, Martinsville in the fall and Phoenix  in the fall.

Of course, Truex is the younger brother of 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. Through 42-previous NASCAR Truck Series starts, Truex has 10 top-five finishes and 19 top-10s. Truex’s best finish in Truck Series competition is second, which he achieved twice (once in 2016 and once in 2017) while driving for Hattori Racing Enterprises.

Niece Motorsports will also field the No. 45 truck in 2020, with Ty Majeski running that machine full-time and they will also run the No. 44 truck with Natalie Decker and Chastain for several races as well.
