Erik Jones Will be Next to Test NASCAR’s NextGen Car This Week at Homestead

Erik Jones will be the latest driver to conduct a two-day test in NASCAR’s new NextGen race car, which is set to debut in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2021.

Jones will test on Wednesday, January 15th and Thursday, January 16th at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The testing will happen between 9AM ET and 5PM ET both days and certain sections of the stands will be open to fans who have already purchased their 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 Homestead race tickets.

Austin Dillon was the first to test the NextGen car at Richmond last October. Joey Logano had his chance to test the machine last month at Phoenix.
