JJL Motorsports seeks new owner for 2020 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series season

SHERRILLS FORD, N.C.: Officials from JJL Motorsports announced today that team owner Jason Little and driver Jesse Little will exit the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series under the JJL Motorsports banner following the season-finale at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway on Nov. 15, 2019.

Jason Little will depart the ownership role to facilitate a new position within the industry.

NASCAR Next alumnus Jesse Little is exploring opportunities in either the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) or Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) next season.

“I’ve really enjoyed the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series over the last five years and I’m very proud with what this family-owned team has been able to accomplish,” said Jason Little.

“Moving forward, both Jesse and I are looking for new ownership to take over the JJL Motorsports team intact and look forward to discussing with anyone interested in taking the reins and competing in the series during the 2020 season and beyond.”

Jason Little believes JJL Motorsports presents the foundation for a new owner(s) to enter the sport at an economical investment.

“We are actively searching for new ownership to purchase the team’s assets and resources as a turn-key Truck program heading into 2020,” Jason Little added. “We believe the team’s equipment, assets, current personnel and resources are a good opportunity for anyone looking to run in the series next year.

“I want to thank all our business and marketing partners for their continued support and really look forward to what the future holds. I plan to work closely with my nephew on business to business opportunities in Motorsports in the coming years.”

“I’m excited about finishing up the 2019 season with JJL Motorsports team and running Phoenix and Homestead at the end of the year,” said Jesse Little.

“I’m currently looking at options to advance my career into the Xfinity and Cup Series and really look forward to what the 2020 season has to offer. I can’t thank my uncle Jason (Little), all our marketing and business partners and my JJL Motorsports guys enough for all the support and we expect to finish the year with a couple of great runs.”
