Video: Sluggish CJ McLaughlin Turns Left Into Full-Speed Jade Buford to End Stage 2

Screengrab from NBCSN race broadcast.

What in the world?!

CJ McLaughlin in the No. 74 Mike Harmon Racing Chevrolet Camaro had been black flagged for not maintaining minimum speed. The driver of the No. 74 opted to attempt to work his way to pit road to get his car worked on while other cars were coming full-speed to the inside.

When McLaughlin made the hard left hand turn, he collected Jade Buford, who had nowhere to go.

This crash brought out the caution, which would end Stage 2. Ty Gibbs took the Stage win.
