Video: Chase Elliott Misses Turn One While Leading in Final Stage at Roval

Luckily for Chase Elliott, his Stage 2 win in Sunday’s Bank of America 400 at the Roval locked him into the next round of the Playoffs. In the final Stage, Elliott was leading the race on a restart, when he made a mistake and carried too much speed going into turn one.

Elliott’s brakes locked up and he went straight into the Tums Heartburn Turn branded softwall.

It was embarrassing, but Elliott minimized damage and still has a shot to battle for a decent finish.
