The Camping World SRX Series didn’t come to Slinger Speedway this weekend to play, which has been clearly demonstrated throughout the entire night of racing at the quarter-mile short track. A great deal of the drama, however, has revolved around Paul Tracy, although most of it wasn’t even caused by him.

With two laps to go in Saturday Night’s feature event, Hailie Deegan got into the side of Paul Tracy’s Lime Green No. 13, sending Tracy spinning in turn four in front of the entire pack. Tracy would collect Willy T Ribbs, Michael Waltrip and Helio Castroneves, ensuring that five of the field’s 12 drivers received some sort of samge in the melee.

Hailie Deegan, Willy T Ribbs, Michael Waltrip and Helio Castroneves were able to finish the event, while Paul Tracy’s destroyed No. 13 was enough to force a retirement out of the IndyCar broadcaster.

  1. As far as I can see, Tracy tried to move down on Deegan and she held her ground. The lane was hers and he was trying to take it!! Video from both cars support this!!!

  2. If you actually look at the video, it is Paul Tracy that came down into Deegan. She held her line. PT whines about everything while dumps a lot of people.
