One of the best aspects of the offseason for the NASCAR National Series is keeping up with the various local short track events in which some of the NASCAR stars participate to maintain their competitive edge while awaiting the start of a new NASCAR season.

On Wednesday, UARA officially revealed the entry list for the UARA National Tour’s 10th annual Bill Bigley Sr. Memorial 128 at Freedom Factory, and contained on the list of 50 drivers are two very familiar names for NASCAR fans — Carson Hocevar and Ty Majeski.

The prestigious super late model event is set for Saturday, November 29, and will pay $30,000 to win.

Hocevar, the full-time driver of the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet in the NASCAR Cup Series, will pilot the No. 5H Chevrolet for Waters Motorsports. Hocevar is coming off a win at Freedom Factory in the 2.4 Hours of LeMullets, a race where he was paired with Cleetus McFarland.

This will mark Hocevar’s first time competing in the Bigley Memorial.

Hocevar will serve as a teammate in the event to former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Johnny Sauter, who will pilot the No. 5. Sauter, who will be making his third career start in the Bigley Memorial, will try to top his best finish of second, which he achieved in the 2023 edition of the event.

Majeski, who won the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship with ThorSport Racing, will pilot the No. 91 Ford for Toby Nuttleman. Majeski is seeking his second career victory in the Bigley Memorial event, as he took the checkered flag in the race in 2024.

This will be Majeski’s fifth career start in the event.
