Video: Ty Gibbs Walks Away From Wild Sprint Car Tumble at Las Vegas

Well, Ty Gibbs initially impressed on Saturday on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway dirt as he locked into the A-Main Event for his Sprint Car debut race in the High Limit Racing Series.

However, after making it into the Main Event, things came undone for Gibbs as he went for a wild tumble on the opening lap of the race after contact with Sterling Cling’s No. 34 machine.

The contact sent Gibbs’ No. 84 on a wild ride, which ended with several flips down the backstretch. Fortunately, after his car came to a stop, Gibbs was able to climb out and walk away seemingly no worse for the wear.

Gibbs is set to compete in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry XSE. Gibbs qualified 29th for the event during Saturday’s Busch Light Pole qualifying session.
