William Byron, one of two three-time winners on the NASCAR Cup Series circuit this season, paced practice for Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Despite a post-inspection penalty, Tyler Reddick was second-fastest in practice. The No. 45 Toyota Camry XSE will be forced to start at the rear of the pack for the longest NASCAR Cup Series event of 2024. Bubba Wallace was third, with Carson Hocevar and Ty Gibbs completing the top five.
