After Thursday’s Duels at Daytona International Speedway, the NASCAR Cup Series is back on the racetrack, knowing which 40 drivers will be starting Sunday’s 67th-annual DAYTONA 500.
Hendrick Motorsports teammates William Byron and Chase Elliott were quickest in Friday’s practice, after a big pack of Chevrolet drivers formed on the racetrack.
Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Kyle Busch, and Austin Dillon completed the top five in the session. Zane Smith, Todd Gilliland, Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, and Ryan Blaney completed the top-10.
