Rajah Caruth Jeb Burton NASCAR Xfinity Series Martinsville Speedway
Jeb Burton and Rajah Caruth had a heated discussion following Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Martinsville Speedway. Burton tied a season-high 11th-place result, while Caruth picked up a 12th-place finish.

If you hadn’t already noticed, the conclusion of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Martinsville Speedway was a highly-controversial one… and that’s just based on what we saw on the broadcast.

It doesn’t end there, though. After the 269-lap contest, Jeb Burton and Rajah Caruth were both involved in a heated discussion, about some on-track action in the closing laps of the race.

Burton, who announced on Friday that he’d be leaving Our Motorsports despite signing a multi-year agreement, finished the race in 11th, a season-high, while Caruth brought his Alpha Prime Racing entry home in 12th, a career-best.

TobyChristie.com captured a video of the heated discussion between Caruth and Burton, which can be viewed on YouTube, as shared below:

These heated post-race discussions on pit road haven’t necessarily been out of the ordinary for Jeb Burton this season, who has struggled mightily to find traction with Our Motorsports, having one of the worst seasons of his career statistically.

After an Xfinity Series event at Charlotte earlier this year, Burton got into a heated shouting match with Noah Gragson, where he can be heard saying “and I’ll wreck the dog fuck out of you”.

From a former teammate to a current teammate, Burton was also involved in a yelling match post-race with Anthony Alfredo, a fellow Our Motorsports driver, following a race at Charlotte’s ROVAL.

With that being said, Burton is moving on from the organization after this season, for what he hopes are brighter and happier pastures, although, that announcement hasn’t been made at this time.
