Austin Hill, the dominant driver of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway, seems to be out of contention for the race win as he was collected by Sam Mayer, who was sent sideways on lap 111.
Mayer, who was running second at the time, received a shove from behind from AJ Allmendinger. The tap got Mayer’s car squirrelly and the crash was on from there.
A late caution for Sam Mayer and Austin Hill at Talladega. https://t.co/iGxPAjRKTR pic.twitter.com/c4483lKyVx
